LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Vincennes University’s InternPLUS AIM program welcomes BraunAbility as its latest corporate partner. BraunAbility is an American manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vans and wheelchair lifts based in Winamac, Indiana.

“We welcome this new partnership with Vincennes University and its AIM program. Working with these interns will be a great opportunity for the students and BraunAbility. This program is designed to develop well trained, skilled employees in this advanced field of manufacturing, and we are excited to be a part of it,” said Teresa Thurston of BraunAbility.

The Advanced Internship in Manufacturing (AIM) program includes a two-year degree in Advanced Manufacturing Automation Technology/Industrial Maintenance. It combines cutting-edge curriculum and paid work experience with technical skills that are highly sought by leading manufacturers.

BraunAbility is the latest company to join other AIM corporate partners that include Nanshan America, Caterpillar, Heartland Automotive LLC, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, and voestalpine Rotec, Inc. Allowing the opportunity for interns to gain valuable real world experiences that could cover the cost of their schooling, these companies are working to attract new industrial maintenance workers who are in high demand by manufacturers.
