January 23, 2019 / Open house will showcase VU TRIO Programs

VINCENNES, Ind. - The TRIO Program of Vincennes University is part of a federal outreach and student services program designed to help students in need gain access to educational tools and prepare them for postsecondary education.

VU Trio Programs provide opportunities for students in nearby counties in grades 6-12.

The public is invited to a TRIO Open House on February 6, 4-6 p.m. (EST), at VU’s Davis Hall, 1200 N. 2nd St., on the fourth floor. Information will be available about Project ASPIREE, Educational Talent Search, and Upward Bound.

To further assist student in obtaining academic success, VU also sponsors two student support service programs, COPE and Experience VU. These programs serve students with disabilities, as well many other students who might need assistance with tutoring or other services.
