MATTOON, Ill. - Six players reached double figures in scoring to pace the No. 2 Vincennes University men’s basketball team to a road win Saturday afternoon.

Lony Francis, Jr. poured in a game-high 26 points to led the Trailblazers to a 114-58 romp over Lake Land.

With the win, VU improves to 21-1 on the season and earned its third win this week.

The Trailblazers raced out to a 66-31 lead in the first half and were never threatened.

Colton Sandage continues his hot streak as he added 16 points. It’s the third straight game the freshman has come off the bench to score 16 or more points.

Kevin Osawe also netted 16 points, while Jordan Lyons (12), George Dixon (11) and Craig Porter (11) all scored in double figures as well.

It’s the seventh straight win for the Trailblazers.

VU returns to the P.E. Complex for a makeup game with Shawnee Monday night.

The game is part of a women’s and men’s doubleheader with the women to tip off at 5 p.m
