April 9, 2018 / WVUT offers sneak peek of "Little Women" series

VINCENNES, Ind. - In anticipation of the three-part Masterpiece series “Little Women,” set to begin in May, WVUT-TV will premier the first hour of the series on April 19, 7 p.m. (EDT), at Vincennes University’s Red Skelton Performing Arts Center. The public is invited to attend and admission is free. Refreshments and door prizes will be available to audience members.

The “Little Women” series will begin with Part 1 on May 13 on Masterpiece.

Loved by generations of women worldwide, Louisa May Alcott’s “Little Women” is a truly universal coming-of-age story. Set against the backdrop of the Civil War, the story follows sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March on their journey from childhood to adulthood. With the help of their mother, Marmee, and while their father is away at war, the girls navigate what it means to be a young woman: from sibling rivalry and first love, to loss and marriage.
