Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation is a governmental agency, which provides services to assist people with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining or retaining employment. Vocational Rehabilitation may provide assistance with some college related expenses for students with disabilities. Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services

The mission of the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) is to develop, finance and compassionately administer programs to provide healthcare and other social services to Hoosiers in need in order to enable them  to achieve healthy, self-sufficient and productive lives. Area Agencies on Aging/Aging and Disability Resource Center

Indiana's Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) provide case management, information, and referrals to various services for persons who are aging or developmentally disabled. To apply for services, or to report suspected Medicare fraud or abuse, contact the AAA nearest you by calling toll free 800-986-3505 or visiting their website.

Self Advocates of Indiana

Self-Advocates of Indiana (SAI) is a statewide advocacy organization that empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As self-advocates, we are citizens who speak out and advocate and educate for equal rights, respect, and inclusion for all in the community. Self-advocacy is standing up for my rights, being in charge of my life, and bring treated with respect.

Mental Health America

Mental Health America (MHA) - founded in 1909 - is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and to promoting the overall mental health of all Americans. Our work is driven by our commitment to promote mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including prevention services for all; early identification and intervention for those at risk; integrated care, services, and supports for those who need it; with recovery as the goal.

Easterseals Crossroads/INDATA

Easterseals Crossroads has been providing assistive technology solutions in Indiana since 1979. In 2007, Easterseals Crossroads partnered with the State of Indiana, Bureau of Rehabilitative Services, to establish the Indiana Assitive Technology Act (INDATA) Project. The INDATA Project is one of 56 similar, federally-funded projects designed to increase access and awareness of assistive technology.
