Tuition Policies

In-State Tuition
To be eligible for the in-state tuition rate at Vincennes University, students must meet one of the following qualifications:

1. Be a permanent resident of the state of Indiana
2. Be a permanent resident of the state of Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, or Kentucky
3. Be a veteran who is utilizing their GI Bill® benefits and reside in Indiana, regardless of their formal residence of record (per P.L. 116-315)

Out-of-State Tuition
Students (both civilian and veteran) who reside outside of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, or Kentucky will be charged the out-of-state tuition rate.

Yellow Ribbon Program
Veteran students who are entitled to their Post-9/11 GI Bill® at the 100% rate may qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Program.  The Yellow Ribbon Program is designed to offset the out-of-state tuition charges for veterans who are not eligible for the in-state tuition rate.
